Ghostbusters blurred genres before it was popular, delivering a string of quotable one-liners that have become part of the pop-culture lexiconForty years later, it remains a staple with diehard fans and emerging generations alike.

Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and Rick MoranisGhostbusters was the second-highest grossing film of 1984 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon.

Appealing to adults and children alike, the sharp script by Aykroyd and Ramis marries perfectly to the innovative design and special effects (themselves absolutely charming and definitely of their time and budget)

From the iconic first sighting until the credits roll, this is a rollercoaster you won’t want to endCome and get slimed at Arc Cinema as we raise a glass to this classic film, that deserves to be seen on the big screen with a full house
