When Serbian immigrant Kol (Elias Anton) receives a call from his best friend and ballroom dancing partner Ebony (Hattie Hook), he is tasked with finding her older brother Adam (Thom Green) to come and pick her up from the middle of nowhere.
Finding themselves drawn to each other, the closeted Kol and more worldly Adam develop an intense romance, even though both know that their time together is limited, and each moment brings them closer to having to potentially part forever.
Following the screening actors Thom Green and Hattie Hook will join us for a Q&A session.
‘Indie Australian director-writer Goran Stolevski’s remarkable and moving chronicle of a love encumbered by time, place and circumstance… Of An Age is one of the best films of this young year so far’ – Houston Chronicle
‘It doesn’t feel like a “gay romance”, but simply a romance featuring gay people, and that makes all the difference’ – Washington Blade
This title is held in the NFSA collection.
