A free film screening of Unfolding Florence: The Many Lives of Florence Broadhurst, a documentary film about the colourful life of flamboyant design pioneer Florence Broadshurt.

The screening will be preceded by short film Flamingo Park, a visually exciting film which shows how the environment influences the work of two of Australia's foremost fashion designers, Jenny Kee and Linda Jackson, screened from a 35mm film print from the NFSA Collection.

Broadhurst, Kee and Jackson are all featured in the National Gallery’s Know My Name initiative that celebrates all women artists.
 
Directed by Gillian Armstrong Unfolding Florence is 82 minutes rated PG, parental guidance is recommended. Directed by Clytie Jessop, Flamingo Park is 22 minutes and is rated M.
