Ten-year-old Pete (Cameron Wallaby) lives with his grandfather, First Nations Elder Jagamarra (David Gulpilil), in an abandoned drive-in in the Kimberley. When a mining company turns up to bulldoze their home, Pete and his friend embark on a bicycle journey to the city, to save his home.
